Anyway, I wasn't prepared tonight. It's late, one of the kids is up and keeps grabbing for the keyboard, and I was searching around the internet, desperately trying to think of something that would inspire me to write. Nada. Not a single thing looked interesting, not even anything I could copy and paste, and pass off as my own (whoa...JK...haha..I would never do that). I am out of inspiration, for the night at least. So then I sat and stared at the home page of our blog. Alaneo Essentials- A Blog About Family Wellness with doTERRA Essential Oils. The part that really caught my eye was the Unclouded~Pure~Serene. Exactly how I was NOT feeling. The thought entered my mind that I should have an alternate blog that says Tired~Grouchy~Spent that I could write in the days that I wasn't feeling so cheerleaderish about family wellness. I quickly pushed that thought aside. Too much work.
But then I thought exactly why we had picked the name Alaneo Essentials. In Hawaiian Alaneo means unclouded, pure, serene, and that is what we want to convey to anyone who comes into contact with us or our business. Peace is a rare thing to be found in most individuals and homes in our time and age. Therefore Sheena and I decided long ago if we could give anything to anyone, it would be peace. Peace of mind, peace in body, peace in spirit. And essential oils has become a wonderful, integral part of that.
But now connecting back what I was saying in the beginning, I wonder what you out there do to maintain balance in your lives or what secrets of family wellness you have. With a cross continent move coming up (we're moving from Kona, HI to Charlotte, NC on September 2nd), three little ones clamoring for attention, love, and teaching, and work and a business to attend to, it is easy for that precarious balance to become a little wobbly.
Feel free to leave a comment, or email us if you'd like! If your secret to everlasting energy and wellness involves a needle and a coffee pot as in the cartoon above, thanks but I'll do without :) As for me I think I'm going to go dab on a little serenity and be out for the night!
