Here are four simple DIY detox baths that you can utilize!
The Essential Oil Bath
You will need:
1 cup of Epsom Salt
1/2 cup of Baking Soda
And 10 drops of Essential Oils mixed with 1 TB of carrier oil or Milk
Use 1 drop of essential oil for an infant and 2-3 drops for a child
Some suggestions of essential oils to try are:
Lavender Oil - Sedative, Calming, Anti-Inflammatory
Grapefruit - Uplifting
Peppermint - Brain Fog, Fatigue
Chamomile - Headache, Digestive Upset
Or clary sage oil, rose oil, geranium oil, frankincense oil, sandalwood oil, eucalyptus oil, and conifers such as cedar oil, fir oil, pine oil, pinon pine essential oil, spruce oil, and juniper oil to name a few.
Just draw your bath, drop your essential oils into your carrier oil and pour into your cup of epsom salt. Then pour the epsom salt and baking soda into the hot water. This will make sure that the essential oils are diluted and dispersed well. After your soak, you can rinse off in cool water to wash the toxins off your skin.
The Apple Cider Vinegar Bath
Just add 1-2 cups to your bath water!
Shower off afterwards!
Sea Salt Bath
There are two ways to take a Sea Salt Bath. The first of course is just to use 1 cup of Sea Salt. I recommend this for newborn and immediate postpartum use.
Here is the second recipe:
1 cup Sea Salt
1 cup Baking Soda
Ginger Detox Bath
Grate 1/8 - 1/4 cup of ginger into 1/2 cup of Epsom salt and pour into your bath water, and make this water as hot as you can handle. Or you can instead use 1 teaspoon of ground ginger.
Plan on sweating for up to an hour afterwards, so have lots of water nearby. Also you may feel some mild detox symptoms the following day.

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
